Welcome to VeriMedia.xyz (the "Service"). By accessing or using our browser-based metadata purging and copyright shield utility, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Agreement to Terms

By using our website, utilities, or purchasing a Creator Pro license, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the Service.

2. Description of Service

VeriMedia.xyz provides edge-computed browser tools designed to:

• Strip EXIF/GPS coordinate metadata segments from JPEGs.
• Inject custom IPTC copyright credits, author licensing anchors, and E-E-A-T badges.
• Embed global AI training opt-out markers (ai:opt-out=true).

The Standard Tier is free for casual creators. The Creator Pro Tier is a lifetime-payout upgrade that unlocks batch uploads and custom creator branding.

3. License Tiers and Seat Limits

When you purchase a Creator Plus or Creator Pro license key:

• Personal & Commercial Use: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use the Pro features for personal and commercial content production.
• Seat Limitation: A single Plus license key is valid for 1 device. A single Pro license key is valid for up to 3 active browser instances or devices simultaneously.
• Abuse: Reselling, distributing, decompiling, or attempting to crack license key validation processes will result in the immediate and permanent revocation of your active seats without refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use VeriMedia to process files for fraudulent, illegal, or deceptive purposes. This includes but is not limited to: stripping copyright labels belonging to other creators to claim false authorship, removing watermarks or ownership marks from licensed content, processing files you do not own or have rights to modify, or using the Service to facilitate identity fraud, harassment, or stalking. You are solely and entirely responsible for the files you process, download, and publish.

5. Intellectual Property

All source code, interface designs, trademarks, and branding elements are the exclusive property of VeriMedia.xyz. You are granted permission to download the locally processed output files, but you do not acquire any ownership over the software, its design, or its processing engine.

6. VeriMedia Branding in Output Files

Files processed through the Free and Creator Plus tiers include a "VeriMedia.xyz" reference in the Software metadata field. This branding may only be removed by Creator Pro users who enable the Whitelabel option. Attempting to remove VeriMedia branding through means other than the Whitelabel feature is a violation of these terms.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. VeriMedia does not guarantee that AI crawlers will honour the ai:opt-out signal, that all metadata fields will be removed from all file formats, or that the Service will be available without interruption. The effectiveness of metadata signals depends on third-party crawler behaviour, which VeriMedia does not control.

8. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall VeriMedia.xyz, its owners, developers, affiliates, or payment partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of or inability to use this Service. This includes but is not limited to: location disclosure from files that were not properly processed, copyright disputes arising from metadata you chose to inject or remove, loss of business or traffic on external sites, AI crawlers that do not honour opt-out signals, or any legal action taken against you as a result of your use of this Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VeriMedia.xyz and its owners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights. This indemnification obligation survives the termination of your use of the Service.

10. User Responsibility

VeriMedia is a tool. You are responsible for how you use it. You must have the legal right to process any file you upload. You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including copyright law, privacy regulations, and data protection requirements. VeriMedia does not verify the ownership or legality of files you process and accepts no liability for misuse.
